A group of poor, young artists struggle to survive in New York’s Lower East Side over the course of one year. Set against the backdrop of the HIV/AIDS crisis, the story centers around Mark and Roger as they are forced to deal with love, loss, disease, and drug addiction. Winner of the 1996 Tony Award for Best Musical, and the Pulitzer Prize. Directed by Jacy Fitzpatrick with musical direction by Greg Tucker.
