Thank you for your interest in submitting a production for ICCT’s 66th season. As we continue to adapt our performances during the pandemic, we are planning to move forward with a digital season. Please read the guidelines below before submitting a proposal. We also encourage all interested directors to read ICCT’s values, show selection, and casting statements.
Performances for the 66th season will take place in: October, 2021; December, 2021; February 2022; and May, 2022. Exact dates will be determined based on director availability. We anticipate that each production will run for one weekend with performances at 7:30 PM on Friday and Saturday and at 2:00 PM on Sunday.
In order to limit production costs and provide maximum flexibility in presenting each show, we are encouraging directors to submit proposals for plays that are in the public domain or original works. While we may consider licensed productions, please be aware that not all scripts are available for streaming. To aid directors in choosing a production, the ICCT Play and Director Selection committee has compiled a list of titles we are interested in seeing produced, as well as resources for finding public domain scripts and titles with licenses for virtual productions. As the ICCT board continues to monitor COVID-19 case numbers and vaccine availability, it is possible that later productions in the season may be moved to in person performances. While we ask directors not to plan for an in person performance, you may address in your proposal how you would stage an in person performance if this becomes an option. When considering in person staging, please keep in mind that options for set may be limited.
